Ever since owning a vibrator, I’ve always used one to edge. I decided to try things manually today instead. It took me a lot longer to reach an edge with just my fingers, but the arousal has stuck around SO much longer. It’s been hours since I edged and I feel like my clit sensitivity is somehow higher? I got a shower after my last edge and I swore I could feel every trail of water against my clit. This discovery is going to make 2019 very interesting…

What a great discovery, it’s one of the reasons I suggest a morning edge should be done fingers only, and vibes if allowed at all should be saved for your nighttime edge.

I suggest you try a ‘Wet January’ – no vibes this month, just fingers. At least twice a day, and as few orgasms as you can manage…

Good girl.

James I wanted to say thank you. That vibe you recommended is the perfect gift. I just bought one for all my besties for Christmas. Some will think it’s a joke I bet but hopefully most will appreciate it. As you say I hope it offers the chance to talk more about sex. It drives me crazy how it’s such a taboo subject still when I just want to help them because they’re my friends! Also I think it’s brilliant you’d think of buying your daughter a vibe. I wish all parents were like that.

Thank you! Seriously, I loved it, I hadn’t seen it before but it was just perfect. I hope your friends appreciate them, and that it sparks up all those positive conversations.

Here’s the recommendation for those who missed it.

http://tumblr.edging.space/post/181230574428/so-i-want-to-buy-my-girlfriends-vibes-for

Also, if you’re thinking of buying sex toys before Crimbo at Lovehoney I’ve just seen you have

1 hour and 19 minutes to get it in (UK site anyway) for guaranteed delivery

US remarkably you can still get it too if you go for FedEx 1 day delivery.

Get your Crimbo Sex Toys…

Actual the US deal of the day is pretty cool. Nice and kinky and that’s a very good shaped buttplug included in the kit (the vibe slides in it too if I remember right) Half price makes it pretty good value I think at $42

Lovehoney Deal of the Day

Thanks for all the interest in toys everybody, that’s been fun. I was thinking in the New Year I might do some more detailed reviews, mine are a couple of years old now. So if there’s stuff you’re interested in, or perhaps the make up of what would go in a great beginner’s sex toy kit, let me know.

Also, if you’ve bought any of this stuff then let us know about how you got on!

Happy Christmas everyone and well done again OP, hoping it brings all the fun it should!

James

I just bought my first order from the love honey site and I am so excited to get my package. I got a vibrating dildo, and some anal beads. What should I do with them first?

Wash them.

Really, I’m sure they’re fine but I always think it’s a good plan to give them a bit of a soap and wash down.

THEN, the fun begins.

Explore playing with the vibe, don’t get straight into turning it to full and shoving it in! It’s all about the tease. So play with it clothed, try it on your breasts, then your clit through your clothes.

Build up the anticipation.

Remember that even though it’s a vibrating dildo the majority use for those is still on your clit. So that’s where to focus first, maybe through panties then on your bare skin, see what feels good. Again, tease, play over your labia, push the tip against the entrance of your vagina, even, especially when through panties, try vibrating against your bottom – that can feel amazing.

Then move it between the tip in your vagina and circling your clit, try alternating, see what feels best, make tease part of your normal experience.

Be aware sometimes the SIDE of your clit is more sensitive so just explore, once you’re aroused and it’s swollen, with moving the tip around the sides of your clit, not just pushing it on top.

With a vibrating dildo you can also kneel over it and hump it, that can be a fun way to go hands free and play with your breasts at the same time.

Once you’ve got really aroused with all that, start to play with it more inside you. Try it both with vibrations on and off. Some prefer just fucking it when the vibes are off. The real point of the vibrations is to work that tip inside you against your g-spot. That’s found on the side of your tummy, 3-5 inches in, you’ll often feel the urge to pee when you first press on it from inside, that’s okay, keep going, it’ll feel better and better. Little circles or fucks inside with the tip, at varying levels of vibrations is what we’re after, maybe rubbing your clit with your fingers on the outside. You’ll see that effectively your g-spot is inside you where your clit is on the outside, it’s all connected.

If it’s not a g-spot vibe with a little bend in the end then you can achieve pretty much the same result by just angling the base of the vibe down towards your bottom on the outside, so that the tip rises up to your tummy on the inside.

Perhaps you’ll feel it’s enough to make you cum from all that, if you can, see if just the vibe inside can take you over, it’s a bit different from a clitoral orgasm for many. Often described as ‘full body’ orgasms.

Of course, if you’re a true denial slut, you might take yourself over and then pull the vibe out, and ruin it. Ruin your first orgasm with that vibe. How mean…

Or you could just keep yourself ultra horny, and decide to see how those beads feel.

The trick with beads is be really aroused and lube them the fuck up. Lube your ass, lube the beads, and keep on lubing.

The main idea with beads is you pull them out when you cum, that’s the classic move, although they do give you a really deep, but bendy penetration. The thought of them so far in you is a huge turn on to some.

They’ll usually get wider as they go so just go slowly and see what’s comfortable. You want to have given your bottom a wash out before if you can, and certainly have done a poo at least a few hours before to empty out higher up. Because that’s the thing with anal beads, they are going deeper than a plug, so it’s likely they won’t come out spotlessly clean unless you’ve got a magic butthole or have just had some colonic irrigation.

So just be prepared for that. A little plastic bag to put it in after you’re done is useful, you don’t want to have to put it down on the duvet. And then just give it a good wash in the shower or sink after you’ve calmed down with soap and water and ideally a sex toy cleaner spray. Let the dry naturally but try not to leave them in the bathroom unless you like awkward questions.

So yes, when actually using them, slide them in slowly, one at a time, until it’s comfortable, then get edging again with the vibe and, as you climax, tug them out. I’ll let you have a full orgasm with that one, unless you’d really prefer to ruin it…

Enjoy!

Hi James! So I was wondering if you could offer a suggestion for me. I have had two separate wand vibrators (one from Lovehoney and the other a body wand brand) but neither were very stimulating for me. I could feel the vibrations, but I would hardly get aroused from it. I’ve always fantasized about getting a hitachi magic wand, but I’m worried that it’ll be the same situation with a more expensive toy. Any thoughts?

Lots of sex toys questions, is Black Friday getting you all out looking?!

As long as you’re talking about the plug in ones, and not battery powered, then the Lovehoney is actually better than the Hitachi Magic wand as the Hitachi only has two power settings (at least the one we had did) while the Lovehoney one is variable and just as powerful as far as I remember.

The battery ones are pretty damn good now too but we still get out the mains powered one for those special times, like when I want to make her scream during post orgasm torture, you know, cute stuff like that.

Also, boys and those with appendages, press one of these babies onto the right butt plug and watch your cock do things you didn’t know it could.

Check out Lovehoney’s Magic Wands here

Fuck me, the UK one is £25 in the sale. I’d snap that up before it changes!

Anyway, back to OP

So, it might be that a big magic wand isn’t what your body likes. That happens. For some they can just be too powerful, even at the lightest setting (if that’s the case try using it through a duvet or clothing).

For others you want a little bullet vibe you can get right up against your clit, with your clit hood out the way, and find the right spot, the broad head of the wand is just too general.

The other thing to try with it though, is use it with a dildo. The one I recommended just now is a cracker. Push that inside you, jam the head of the wand on the base of it so the vibes go right up on you and it kicks the arse of any battery powered vibe. 240volts of pure vibratory goodness (okay 110 for our cousins over the pond).

What you didn’t tell me OP is if you can cum from other stuff, so feel free to message if you want more specific advice.

Hey, James! My current fantasy is being in the 1800’s and being treated by a doctor for “hysteria” with a vibrator. Thought you might find that interesting! ;)

Most interesting. Of course in my practise we’d see it as deeply inappropriate to make a woman actually experience

paroxysm

. No indeed, it is the process that is good for one, the eventual outcome is strictly for the marital bed. But the closer we can take you the better the cure so our one or two hour sessions are designed to keep you on the very pinnacle of that climax.

While some patients do complain at first that this makes the symptoms of their hysteria worse, the lower abdomen aching, the wetness between the legs, the inappropriate fantasies, we find in almost all cases the husbands, who are after all, the real patient, report delight at the results.

Their wives are so eager in the bedroom that male satisfaction is achieved daily, as is recommended, and in manners we won’t discuss in depth here but are definitely somewhat unconventional (the desire to fellate seems to grow exponentially, for example).

We are somewhat ‘old school’ at the surgery and do prefer to give manual stimulation with hands and olive oil (virgin of course). However we are not slow to embrace the latest technologies of this wondrous age, and the use of ‘vibrators’ on our Tuesday and Thursday mid afternoon clinics is proving popular. Our specially trained nurses constantly adjust the speed of the devices to ensure our patients receive the most beneficial levels of stimulation while whispering soothing words to them. They take great delight in their work, and their professionalism, so have no fear, no climaxes will be allowed.

HEY SO MY DAD FOUND MY VIBRATOR AND NOW EVERY TIME I LOOK AT IT I️ WANNA THROW IT ACROSS THE ROOM WHAT DO I️ DO!!!!!!!

Pro-tip…

Get one of those rubber covers for it.

It’ll bounce, not damage anything, and actually suddenly not be the vibe your dad found.

Also, get over it.

You’re a big girl now. It’s sex. Your dad masturbates, your mum too probably. And let’s not even get into where YOU came from.

You’re welcome!

post image

so i recently got my first vibrator and i tried to use it but like it didnt seem to fit inside of me ??? Im a virgin so i have no idea what i was doing and it just hurt and was generally uncomfortable. I didnt even get it half in! Any tips or something?

Okay, so, firstly well done on buying a vibe.

While you can use them inside you, they are mostly used on the outside, on your clitoris. yep, even the ones that look like cocks or the ones that are classic vibrator shaped:

They’re that shape because yes, you CAN use them inside you, and it can be nice to fuck something that’s safe to put inside and a bit bigger than the hairbrush or fingers most start with. But even though it’s so phallic, it’s still mostly used pressed against your clitoris (google that it you’re not sure where to find it, but it’s the bit that feels great when you rub it).

So okay, when you are using it vaginally, it’s going to be tight at first. The vagina is about as close to magic as bits of the human body come. That tight little hole is also able to fit big fat cocks in it and also get babies out of it. But all that takes some time to work up to. And most importantly, if you’ve not played up there much or at all, you’ve got a hymen in the way.

Not sure how that all works, read up on my hymen tab:

http://edging.space/tagged/hymen

As described there, your hymen will stretch, and also your vaginal muscles will relax as you play more, and you really do want to play more, let me tell you. Not only can your vagina do all that cool stuff, but it feels amazing when you play in there. That’s mostly the G-spot, which is located kind of the far side of your clitoris, just out of reach of your fingers if you’re playing with yourself (see God does have a sense of humour) but just perfectly in reach if someone else plays there or you put in a brush or a vibe like this. Actually, vibes like the one above aren’t brilliant for it because the g-spot is kind of in and UP a bit, on your tummy side, so that’s why you’ll see lots of vibrators and dildos that are curved, because they get there much better.

Stats show only about a third of women ever learn to come from just vaginal stimulation, from just fucking, or using a dildo, without stimulating their clit. Now my theory is that’s simply because so few are ever taught or encouraged to play in there. Most of the women I do some teaching and training with learn to orgasm just from playing with their g-spot. It takes a bit of time and practise but it’s more like 80% who actually try and give it a proper go.

The other key when you’re new to all this, OP, is lube. Either you need to have been playing with your clit and edging and got very, VERY wet before you try vaginal penetration with anything bigger than your finger, or you need to invest in some basic lube, and just a squirt of that will make everything feel 100 times better instantly, Seriously, if I could take one sex aid to a desert island, it’d be a bottle of lube

Lovehoney have a 20% off if you buy two lubes deal at the moment so check out all the different types and read their reviews and invest in

Lovehoney Lubes – Check them out here…

So in summary, OP, focus on using the vibe on your clit, that’s where most do, but do keep exploring, as you get hornier and wetter, using it inside you too to explore how being fucked feels, and also seeing if you can get those vibrations up onto your g-spot. Oh yes, and you’ll know you get it as it’ll feel good but also, you’ll have the urge to pee mostly. That’s totally normal, and it passes, don’t let it put you off. It’s not that you need to pee (just pee before and you’ll realise that’s true as your bladder is empty) but it’s you starting to build up the ‘female ejaculate’ that women squirt, because yes they do too, read up on that too, it’s cool!

I hope that helps,

James

Lovehoney remote control Love Egg vibe

I hope you find some bargains. I assume this is just for today? Although most of the Lovehoney sites have at least 30% what looks like a similar set of toys.

Let us know in the notes if you find any other bargains!
