Orgasm Denial Scientific Paper
This is so awesome! On a different web site, ukguybrushthreepwood posted the following:
In my professional life I am a scientist, and I can’t seem to separate science from essentially everything I do.
As a result, I found myself interested in measuring the effects of orgasm denial on my partner. I thought the methods I used may be of interest to some other doms out there, and may interest some lovely subs out there, too!
In the study I measure positive and negative personality traits relatively subjectively and see how the denial periods affected her own experience of life as well as the quality of her submission over small periods of denial (compared to some of you guys! For her it was very long indeed!)
Due to fortunate and unfortunate circumstances my partner and I had to stop playing before I had collected a statistically reasonable amount of data to include in this study, but I decided to write this paper anyway as an idea of how a larger study might work. I also decided to use a template from my discipline for fun, and I would love to have a discussion about scientific BDSM studies as a whole, or writing a manual for your partner.
The paper is linked here with my partner’s permission.
The linked “scientific report” even has radar plots! 🙂
He also said in a later comment: “The thing I am trying to discuss but failing is the idea of studying or being studied. Again I’m not trying to defend my paper, because the point was less about scientific rigour and more about raising the question ‘do our partners benefit from denial?’ and ‘can it be proven?’”
This is so great!
